The Rare Fair will be held on September 1-2, 2020.
This is an online event. You can participate anywhere that you have Internet access. The event is accessible from desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
The Rare Fair is a 100% virtual event designed to reach the global rare audience. The Fair is structured just like a traditional ground event with a lobby, exhibit hall, auditorium, breakout sessions, swag, and more. You will be able to engage with vendors, sponsors, speakers, and fellow attendees just as you would during a traditional ground event.
No. You only need access to the internet.
Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
At The Rare Fair, you will be able to ...
All scheduled breakout sessions, access to the exhibitor hall, the patient resource room, patient education rooms, all breakout tracks, swag boxes for the first 100 patient/caregiver registrants (if you’re stateside), and the opportunity to participate in giveaways.
Early bird registration for patients and caregivers is only $19 through April 30, 2020, then tickets are $24.
You will not be required to register for the keynote or any sessions on our breakout tracks, however, some events might fill up quickly. We recommend you join the session 3-5 minutes before it begins. If you do miss a session, you'll have on-demand access to selected sessions within 24 hours after the event ends. We'll let you know when the on-demand feature is live via email.
Each session will feature a speaker who will present on their topic, then take questions. Polling questions might be presented during the session, as well. The questions can be asked by attendees in a live chat format and will be moderated. Any questions not answered during the session will be emailed to the speaker, who will then follow-up with attendees.
Since the event is available on-demand for 30 days, you’ll be able to reach out to the speaker via the chat function and that person will receive a notification from us to follow-up with you.
You will receive a private link with your login details before the event launches.
The Rare Fair offers several networking opportunities to connect live with exhibitors and attendees via text, video, audio channels, or 1:1 scheduling (new to this years event).
